Laura Middleton MCHA

Laura Middleton MCHA

Hydro Therapist / K Laser Therapist

My name is Laura Middleton, I am a qualified canine hydrotherapist and Klaser therapist, I’ve been with the Canine Health & Hydro team for 16 months and I am a member of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association. I have worked with animals since the age of 14 in kennels, rescue centres, groomers and some dog walking in between. I did a lot of practical work with animals whilst studying for my degree in Animal Science & Welfare which I have had now for 18 months. I have two dogs of my own (Buster the Siberian Husky and Messi the Cavapoo) that I spend a lot of my spare time with, but also have grown up with animals my whole life. There is nothing quite like helping all of the dogs at Canine Health & Hydro throughout their recovery, assisting owners in the rehabilitation and watching the growth and confidence blossom with each individual

Holly Marklew MCHA

Holly Marklew MCHA

Hydro Therapist / K Laser Therapist

My name is Holly Marklew, I’ve been a qualified canine hydrotherapist for 4 years and this year I got my Klaser qualification. I’ve been with Canine Health and Hydro since May 2021. I remember always having a love for animals, especially dogs. When I was growing up I’d always be found cuddled up with our family dog Badger the labrador and since then I’ve been hooked! When I’m not helping your dogs get back onto their paws I’m usually out and about with my own two, Sky the lurcher and Pan the lab. Being a hydrotherapist is one of the most rewarding jobs and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Megan Berry MCHA

Megan Berry MCHA

Hydro Therapist / K Laser Therapist

Hello! I’m Megan Berry and I am a qualified Canine Hydrotherapist and K-Laser therapist. Since June 2021, I have been part of the team at Canine Health and Hydro and am registered with the Canine Hydrotherapy Association. Growing up you would always find me wherever any animal was and ever since I was little I have known that I would work with them. Now you can either find me in the pool, on the farm or with my 2 dogs, Pudding and Fly. Whilst completing an Extended diploma in Animal management I was introduced to Hydrotherapy and since then have never looked back. Being able to help the dogs is not just a job but a love and passion and that is why I am proud and honoured to be able to help give your furry friends a better quality of life.

Physiotherapist / K-Laser Therapist

Aimee Moses, BSc (Hons), PGDip Vetphys, MIRVAP (VP),  Im  Aimee and I am the Physiotherapist here at Canine Health and Hydro. I have always had a love for animals and a passion for rehabilitation. I grew up with dogs, horses and chickens and always knew I would work with animals. After school, I decided to follow my passion and studied animal management at college. Following this, I then relocated to Gloucester to complete a degree in Equine Science and Therapy at Hartpury University. I was surrounded by leaders in research and state of the art facilities and this is where my love for physiotherapy grew. At university I volunteered at the equine and canine therapy centres on site. I based my undergraduate dissertation on hydrotherapy and physiotherapy and completed my degree with a 1st class (HONS). Over the next couple of years, I went on to study at The University of Nottingham Vet School to complete my PGDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Fast forward to now, I am able to treat lots of different dogs and horses with varying conditions, it is the most rewarding and fulfilling job in the world. I have big plans for the future to further develop my skills and I can’t wait to help more animals.  When im not treating animals I enjoy horse riding as well as walking with my border collie in the Yorkshire dales and Lake District.
